A lot of you have been asking when the Celebrity Nest Items from the Celebrity Party will be available again. BIN-tastic news – that time has come! A few weevily exclusive Celebrity Items will be returning on a Limited Sale over the next few weeks!
Here are this week’s contenders – cast your vote now in the sidebar on the right! The winning items will appear in shops NEXT FRIDAY for one weekend only, and a new group of items will then go up for the vote. Exciting!!
If you don’t see the item you’re waiting for this week, it might be in next week’s group. Also, an item might come up for the vote more than once, so be sure to look out for the poll and vote every week!
Get ready for Earth Day!
DID YOU KNOW? Paper bags, plastic containers, clean tin cans and old cardboard could all be turned into true works of art with a lick of paint, a spot of glue and some creativity! Getting crafty is a fun way to recycle!
This weekend, why not use some rubbish or recyclables to make a weevily craft, then send in a snap of it for the Fan Art Gallery?
TIP: The plastic caps from drink bottles make great Bin Pets! Just glue on some eyes and arms, and voila! Be sure to ask a parent for help if you’re using hot glue.

What a terrific Tuesday! Elves and fairies must have been busy overnight, because some brand new Enchanted Forest nest items have arrived in the Shopping Mall with a glimmer of fairydust! You won’t want to miss any of these, so hopefully you’ve been saving up that magic Mulch!

Star Fighters Are Back In The Bin!
Attention all Bin Weevils!
If you missed your chance to become a Star Fighter the last time the Star Fighters HQ was in the Bin, then now’s your chance, as the Intergalactic Force Academy has returned!
The Star Fighters portal is now back, hovering over Lab’s Lab and ready for all new cadets to join in on the intergalactic fun!
Enter the portal and you will be transported into the future to the year 5012! You can join the Intergalactic Force Academy – an elite fighting team sworn to protect the galaxy.
Only the brightest and most promising cadets are accepted into the Intergalactic Force Academy so complete the tasks to reach the highest ranks and once you’ve completed them all, you’ll become an official STAR FIGHTER!
If you already became a Star Fighter last time round then don’t worry, there are still plenty of new competitions to enter, prizes to win and codes to crack!
You also stand a chance to win an Xbox 360 with Kinect, a gigantic 50,000 Mulch as well as your very own set of Star Fighters books and intergalactic cadet packs! Not only that, but there’s plenty of games to play too!

Level Up & Earn Trophies!

Guess what, Bin Weevils! From now on, every time you level up, you will be rewarded with an awesome Trophy! Each one is funkier than the next. Display ‘em all or choose your favourites to show off to all your nest guests!
If you already have a high level, don’t worry – you’ll automatically get ALL the trophies for the levels you’ve completed, and they’ll arrive in your My Stuff box the next time you level up. So get that XP up and start collecting!
HOW DO I LEVEL UP?
You gain more XP (experience points) each time you do various activities around the Bin, from completing the Daily Brain Strain to playing games and harvesting your garden. You also earn XP each time you buy a nest item from the Shopping Mall and every time you visit a club inside a Bin Tycoon’s plaza!
Invite a Friend Weekend!

For those of you who haven’t heard, there is a new button called INVITE A FRIEND and it does just that! This weekend, let’s see how many friends you can invite to join Bin Weevils!
If your friend accepts your invitation and joins Bin Weevils we will give you the aquarium for FREE and your friend will get 1000 mulch. For the second friend who accepts your invitation you will get a hermit crab! For the third friend you will get a pink fish and for the fourth friend…you will just have to find out for yourself! Fill your aquarium with critters, fish and fun stuff and welcome new buddies to the Bin! The more the merrier…
Note: Your friend must join by clicking directly on the link in your invitation email, or you won’t receive your prizes. Make sure they accept the invitation by clicking on the link!

Hey weevils!
Bin plus gave it to us so say thanks to BIN PLUS.
The Bin Weevils Team showed off a major secret to the bin today – NEW HATS! These hats are the Tycoon Hats, but are in different shapes and sizes, and include 70 different hats!! The hats include a Witch hat, Cowboy, an Elf hat, and others (check the picture above for the full list). Sadly though, the new hats are Tycoon Only, making only a small % able to wear them!
Do you remember when on Bin Weevils there was a small pop-out object rack when you clicked on your player card? All the weevils wondered what it was for, and now we know! The space was for all the 70+ new hats coming soon! Awesome, eh?
On Friday, 1st of October, there was yet another change by the Bin Weevils Team. This is even bigger than the incident of making Bin Pets Tycoon only, and has to do with Bin Pets as well!
Non-Tycoons, are you fond of your pet? I hope your not, as Bin Pets have been removed from all Non-Tycoons . This means if you bought a pet before they became tycoon only, or recently lost your Bin Tycoon membership, you have lost your pet.
What happens to your pet? Your pet will ‘magically’ disappear, leaving only it’s bowl and bed behind. What a sad, sad day!
Do you think Bin Weevils is being cruel on this? Ever since Bin Pets became Tycoon only, people have always thought that the Bin Weevils Team was becoming very greedy with their Bin Tycoon features.
